The standard Austin Air Cleaner Junior model uses a minimum 5 to 6 pounds of solid coconut based activated carbon and Zeolite. This blends removes thousands of chemicals, odors and gases from the air.

The air is drawn through the filter media by an advanced backward curved blower well. The body and housing are manufactured from welded steel and then baked with a high tech powered coating for durability.

Natural zeolite is mined from the earth. It is a cream-colored mineral. Zeolite has exceptional abilities for capturing small molecules such as ammonia, formaldehyde, and sulfides.

How do I Know if the Filter Needs to be Changed?

How Do I Go About Changing the Filter?

It's very simple. Just turn the unit upside down and remove the four retaining screws holding the bottom on. Lift off the bottom panel and lift out the old filter cartridge. Replace it with the new filter and screw the bottom panel back on.
